This privacy policy applies to the One-Phrase Japanese app (the "App") for iOS, developed as an independent app.

Summary

The App does not collect any data. Period.

There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The App works entirely offline.

Data collection

The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data. Specifically:

• No personal information (such as name, email address, or location) is collected.
• No usage analytics or diagnostics are collected.
• No advertising identifiers are used.
• No third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools are integrated.
• The App does not require an internet connection and does not communicate with any server.

Data stored on your device

The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device only, so the App can remember your preferences:

• Your list of favorite phrases
• Display settings (such as furigana and romaji preferences)

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted anywhere and is not accessible to the developer or any third party. Deleting the App removes this data.

Text-to-speech

The App's audio playback uses Apple's on-device speech synthesis (AVSpeechSynthesizer). Audio is generated entirely on your device. No audio, text, or speech data is sent to any server.

Children's privacy

The App does not collect data from anyone, including children. It contains no ads, no external links to third-party content, and no in-app purchases.
